There's a whole new group of students in Room 26, and Humphrey is trying to figure out what's going on. But his teacher, Mrs. Brisbane, is still there, and the new kids turn out to be nice, too. But the little hamster goes o nightly adventures, which show him the dark side of the school and what happened to last year's classmates.
