"I remember pouring over the pages as a kid, rereading and sitting in awe of the illustrations. This book made me realize that children’s literature is not solely for children. Adults can gain so much from children’s literature."
Hailey joined Reading Is Fundamental in April 2023 as a Programs Coordinator. She is responsible for community outreach, facilitation of RIF programs and events, and supports the implementation of RIF’s initiatives to aid in children’s literacy.
Prior to joining RIF, Hailey spent a year as a columnist at GREY Journal, an entrepreneurial magazine, and a healthcare legal specialist.
Hailey graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor’s in English Literature and Communications.
