Catching the Moon

Marcenia Lyle had a dream: to play baseball. But in the 1930s, for a girl to do this was a long shot. Despite objections from family, friends, and many coaches, Marcenia finally caught a break and participated in a camp sponsored by the St.Louis Cardinals. She went on to become the first woman to play on an all-male professional baseball team.
